Our philosophy is that young children learn best through play. Our goal is to provide an engaging and interactive program in a Christian environment where children can learn about the love of Jesus.
Gilwood Preschool offers a part day preschool program, Monday thru Friday, beginning in September and ending in May. We also offer an optional lunch bunch hour. Our total enrollment is sixty-four children. We have seven teachers and a total of eight classes. We offer small classes with a low student teacher ratio to promote individual growth. Music class is held on Wednesdays for the three, four, and five-day children. Chapel is also an important part of our week day program offering a children’s sermon, songs and prayer in the Sanctuary.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Age Criteria
Child must be 2, 3 or 4 by August 31st of the current year.
Registering v. Enrolling
Registration forms must be received before an application can be offered.
Priority Enrollment
It is the policy of Gilwood Presbyterian Preschool to give first preference for enrollment to current students, siblings of children currently enrolled in the program, and to active members of Gilwood Presbyterian Church.
Vax Criteria
Immunizations must be up to date and a current physical must be provided.
When to Register
Registration for new and returning students begins in February prior to the beginning of school in September.
Wait-List
Should the class be filled, your child will be put on a wait-list and may be enrolled if any spaces become available.
